The game

Just two minutes into the match, Corinthians scored a penalty in their favour. Guilherme Biro triggered Arthur Sousa inside the area and, in an attempt to turn around, the number 9 shirt was knocked down. In the shot, midfielder Matheus Araújo, team captain, hit goalkeeper Jeninson’s right corner, who also hit the corner, but did not reach.

Seven minutes later, Zumbi reaches Kaue’s goal with danger for the first time. Striker Victor made a fine individual move and played for João, who sent off. Then, in the 12th minute, Timão’s reply came through centre-forward Arthur Sousa, who received a cross from the right but also missed.

In the second phase, the Parque São Jorge club took four minutes to stretch the scoreboard. Guilherme Biro threaded for Arthur Sousa. The number 9 then plays backwards and finds Pedro, who initially doubles Timão.

Six minutes later, Pedro took a corner kick for Corinthians from the left and Jean tried to clear it, but ended up playing against his own goal and, thus, scored against the third goal of the match.

With 19 minutes into injury time, Guilherme Biro was substituted and thus his participation in the competition was over. This is because the 18-year-old player, who has played two professional games, will play in the Under-20 South American Championship with Brazilian team.

Finally, already in the additions, at 46, Timão gave the definitive numbers to the comparison. Ryan caught a pass inside the box, the defense also tried to intercept, but the ball went to the attacker, who hit it first to turn the victory into a rout.
