Corfo opens program for projects of companies affected by fires – La Discusión

Within the framework of the Reconstruction Plan for the areas affected by the forest fires, Corfo reported that the Active Emergency Recovery 2023 call is now open, for the Ñuble Region, which will co-finance up to 50% of the total cost of individual investment projects, with a cap of up to 40 million pesos.

“The program is aimed at companies that were directly affected by the fires that occurred in February of this year, which were registered by the Ministries of Economy or Agriculture, and which were mainly affected by the loss of infrastructure, production and, therefore, , of its source of income and capacity to generate jobs”, explained the regional director of Corfo, Macarena Dávila.

Activa Recuperación Emergencia 2023 will support projects for a minimum amount of 20 million pesos, whose proposal contemplates the acquisition of fixed assets, recovery or construction of new productive infrastructure and/or working capital. The application modality is permanent, with a closing date of September 29, 2023, or when all available resources are awarded.

“The Reconstruction Plan, announced by President Gabriel Boric, seeks to provide security, dignity and hope to the families that were affected by the fires, and promote the productive reactivation of the affected territories during the emergency that occurred in our region. In this sense, it is that together with the Seremi de Agricultura, we have developed and implemented a productive cadastre to identify those affected sectors, most of which are also strategic for the economy in Ñuble, such as agriculture, tourism, among others. others, and in this way, quantify and implement the appropriate support mechanisms that allow them to recover and redevelop their economic activity”, said the Ñuble Economy Seremi, Erick Solo de Zaldívar.
