Corendon holidays will continue for the time being, still ambiguity at TUI | NOW

All holidays that have been booked at Corendon this summer will continue, as it looks like now. This was already known for the flights that the company operates itself, but according to Corendon, this now also applies to those who have booked their holiday with the tour operator, but fly to their destination with, for example, KLM. However, it is possible that the flights depart from another airport.

For travelers who have booked with TUI and fly to their destination with another airline, it is not yet clear exactly what will happen to their flights.

The travel organization says it is now first working on informing travelers who travel with its own airline TUI fly. These travelers can all go on holiday, but may depart from another airport, namely Rotterdam or Liège in Belgium.

As soon as the travelers of TUI fly have been informed, it is the turn of those who have booked with TUI, but are flying to their destination with another airline.

Crowds at Schiphol cause problems

Schiphol cannot cope with the expected flow of passengers this summer, partly due to a shortage of staff. The airport has therefore asked airlines and tour operators to cancel or move flights.

Last week, Sunweb already guaranteed that all holidays from July 7 to August 14 can continue. Airline Transavia is canceling 240 flights until mid-August.

KLM will cancel flights on a “limited scale” in July and August, but did not want to mention numbers earlier. The airline said it will continue to travel for passengers who have booked a flight for this summer.
