Córdoba.- This afternoon, the Córdoba council unanimously approved the donation contract with the character of conditional and revocable in favor of the State Government through the Secretariat of Education of Veracruz with final destination, for the “Technological University of the Center of Veracruz”, on the property located in the San José de Tapia de Córdoba ejido, Veracruz.
In her intervention, trustee Vania López González said she was grateful to the state authorities for looking at Córdoba, the opportunity and projection of the university in the territory, with the legal certainty and feasibility of the property for the extension of the institution, which It means a legacy to the youth given that more than 70 percent of the university’s enrollment are students from Córdoba.
In addition, the municipal president, Juan Martínez Flores, in the company of the municipal commune, sworn in Valeria Alarcón Martínez de la Muria as the new head of the Municipal Youth Institute.
Likewise, during the Ordinary Session, the budget modifications to the 2023 Investment Program of “Fiscal Resources”, regarding goals, were approved by majority vote. The closing of the 2023 fiscal year corresponding to “fiscal resources” for the presentation of municipal information to the Superior Audit Body of the State of Veracruz through electronic means.
As well as the budget modifications to the 2023 investment program of the resources of the “Contribution Fund for the Strengthening of Municipalities and Territorial Demarcations of the Federal District (FORTAMUNDF) regarding amounts and goals.
