The sports management headed by Juan Carlos Cordero is working to close a high-level preseason for CD Tenerife. As confirmed by the SER, the blue and white club has undertaken negotiations with two rivals in the same category (Cartagena and Real Zaragoza), as well as with a First team to prepare in the best possible way for their competition in the 21-22 season.
The team of the highest category chosen by the representative is Elche CF, taking advantage of the fact that the Franco-green team has also chosen the facilities of the Pinatar Arena to complete its set-up.
As Radio Club advanced, the island club will spend a few days in the Murcian complex; and the idea is that it is in the third week of the coming month of July. Holidays for Ramis’s family ends on the 6th.
Tenerife’s forecast is that the three games can be broadcast openly on television. It would be a preseason very similar to the previous one, with anti-Covid measures, reduced capacity, a First-class opponent (then it was Villarreal) and a friendly calendar “from less to more.”
The forecast is to close the summer calendar with the traditional ‘bowling’ against teams of lower category; and the derby against UD Las Palmas, which could be the last game before the start of the league competition on August 14 or 15, is yet to be embedded.
