Cora Schumacher: New WhatsApp chat with Ralf raises questions

The new love of former Formula 1 star Ralf Schumacher (49) is not only causing great joy. Among others, ex-wife Cora Schumacher (47) has already expressed her surprise and hurt in public several times and said that she had not known anything about Ralf’s love affair with his friend Étienne Bousquet-Cassagne (34) until recently.

Cora Schumacher: Ralf introduced Étienne as assistant

In a WhatsApp chat from April 17, 2023, Ralf explicitly referred to his new partner Étienne as his employee. According to “Bild”, there was no mention of a love relationship at all. Instead, when Cora asked Ralf why Étienne was always near him, Ralf said: “Yes, he’s always with me. Assistant and responsible for everything 24/7. It’s become too much, otherwise I forget half of it.” As the “Bild” newspaper further reports, Ralf was said to have been in a relationship with the 34-year-old for a long time at that point.

Cora Schumacher speaks plainly: “I feel compelled to take this step”

Why is Cora going public with the news now of all times? “I feel compelled to take this step. To restore my image in public. I have no other choice,” said the 47-year-old honestly. The reason: Ralf recently published a chat history between his ex and partner Étienne, in which Cora congratulated the former politician on his supposed wedding to Ralf in October 2023. Today, however, Cora says to “Bild”: “My communication with Étienne was just an attempt to at least find out the truth from him, since Ralf only introduced him to me as an assistant.” The 47-year-old’s goal? “I want to finally start healing. Before that, I want to make that clear, so that I can go back to being the happy, carefree Caroline Brinkmann that I once was. I didn’t lie.”
