Cor Bakker will stop his radio program this fall Cor’s Choice at the regional channel NH Radio. After 6.5 years and 350 broadcasts, the pianist and presenter thinks it’s time for new things, he said on Tuesday.
“I am very grateful to NH Radio that I was given the opportunity to share my choice of music with many loyal listeners,” says Bakker.
“In the coming period there will be several live performances in my program. And the last broadcast on September 3 promises to be a festive one.”
The composer thanks the technicians of the radio station and his listeners. “Because of the many reactions from listeners, I realize all the more that there is still a great need in the Netherlands for music that you hardly hear anywhere anymore,” says Bakker.
Bakker was seen on TV for years in programs by Paul de Leeuw. In addition, he had his own TV programs that revolved around music, such as Cor & Co in Corey on a trip.
