Copper closed higher this Wednesday in London

Copper experienced a rise of 0.4% on Wednesday. The raw material traded at US $ 3,635 per pound on the London Metal Exchange (BML).

“The market is very attentive to the speech of the president-elect of the United States, Joe Biden, in which he is expected to refer to fiscal stimuli, taxes, renewable energy, commercial relationship with China and economic recovery, and that should certainly mark the pattern in the financial markets in the short term ”, commented this morning José Raúl Godoy, head of analysis at XTB Latam.

Copper averages US $ 3,628 a pound so far this year with an increase of 39.4%.
