Microsoft offered Copilot as a beta in Windows, but Copilot is expected to launch on devices running Home and Pro versions of Windows 10, version 22H2, soon. The release strategy will be implemented using Controlled Feature Rolling (CFR) technology, with the rollout taking place gradually across countries over several months.
Devices running the Enterprise or Education editions of Windows 10, version 22H2, as well as managed Pro devices are excluded from the initial release of Copilot.
Users looking to try Copilot on eligible devices can gain access by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, where they can enable “Get the latest updates as soon as they’re available” and continue checking for updates.
Copilot previews will be released globally on Windows 10 in different phases and will target specific markets, from North America to parts of Asia and South America.
For those interested in exploring Copilot on Windows 10, version 22H2, access is available through the Release Preview channel in the Windows Insider for Business program.
