The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), this Monday, defined the date for the draw that will define the battles for the third stage of the Copa do Brasil 2024. The event will take place next Wednesday, starting at 2:30 pm, in Rio de Janeiro.
In total, 32 clubs will be divided into two pots defined by the National Club Ranking. The teams are grouped as follows:
- Bring 1: Flamengo, Palmeiras, São Paulo, Athletico-PR, Atlético-MG, Corinthians, Fluminense, Grêmio, Fortaleza, Internacional, Bahia, Botafogo, Red Bull Bragantino, Atlético-GO, Ceara and Cuiabá.
- Bring 2: Goiás, Vasco, Juventude, Spórs, CRB, Vitória, Criciúma, Sampaio Corrêa, Operário-PR, Botafogo-SP, Brusque, Ypiranga-RS, América-RN, Amazonas, Águia de Marabá and Sousa-PB.
Criciúma advances in the Brazilian Cup and guarantees a place in the third tier
From this point onwards, the games will be played in a round-robin fashion. The dates booked by the CBF for the third stage of the Copa do Brasil are May 1 and 22.
The draw will be broadcast live by CBF TV.

In the third level, all clubs, regardless of division, receive the same participation quota. The 16 teams that advance to the round of 16 will each receive R$3.465 million.
