The Copa America continues in Brazil, and the quarter-final table is becoming clearer.
The formula of the Copa America this season consists of two groups of 5 of which the first 4 are qualified – even more permissive, therefore, than a Euro where we pick out the best third. And tonight, it was Bolivia that was eliminated from its group, beaten by Uruguay (2-0) with, in particular, Cavani’s 52nd goal for the Celeste.
Paraguay, for its part, surprised Chile, already qualified (2-0), and also validated its ticket for the quarter-finals. The last day of this group will be held this Monday with a Paraguay-Uruguay derby in Rio de Janeiro, and Argentina-Bolivia in Cuiaba. Uruguay and Chile are fighting for 4th place synonymous with shock against Brazil: if Uruguay wins, it will send the Chileans against the host country.
