National teams scheduled to play in the Copa America can hiss in relief. CONMEBOL has relaxed the measures linked to the change of players with coronavirus.

This Saturday, the Venezuelan team, which must face Brazil in the opening of the Copa America this Sunday, June 13, 2021, announced a dozen cases of coronavirus in its workforce. Faced with this situation, the South American Football Confederation was forced to adjust its regulations.

According to the latest modification made by the umbrella organization of South American football, all teams have the possibility of replacing all players with coronavirus, before and during the competition, this in an unlimited way. This measure will remove a thorn from the feet of the selections present in Brazil.
