After leaving Chile and Paraguay, respectively, on the road, the teams from Brazil and Peru will face each other again for the Copa América semifinal. They had already done it in 1975 and 1997, in this same instance.

The rival will be nothing more and nothing less than Brazil, host and favorite for the title. Tite’s team advanced to the quarterfinals after leading his zone, in which he only let two points escape, as a result of 1-1 with Ecuador. From the start they beat Venezuela and Peru (4-0) (3-0), and beat Colombia 2-1. In the ‘kill-kill’ with Chile he won by the minimum.
