Copa Airlines adds Atlanta as a new destination in the United States

Copa Airlines will add Atlanta (ATL) to its network as the fourteenth destination in the United States. This was confirmed by the company in response to an inquiry from Aviacionline.

The new route that will link the Tocumen International Airport in Panama (PTY) with the
Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport will begin on December 12 with four weekly flights, on a schedule that will connect the multiple destinations that Copa has in its Hub of the Americas to the Caribbean and South America.

Taking advantage of the growing demand for vacation destinations in the region from US tourists, this announcement will benefit tourism and business in Panama.

It must be added that Atlanta has been experiencing a growing presence of Spanish speakers, with more than 29,000 inhabitants, especially of descendants of Mexico, Puerto Rico and El Salvador, according to the latest census conducted in the United States.
