With the “Pontesano” and “Red Cross Duo” offers, the Swiss Red Cross (SRK) Canton of Zurich offers mentally stressed or disabled people as well as elderly people low-threshold and practical support in coping with everyday life. Volunteers visit the often vulnerable clients regularly, accompany them in various everyday situations and thus enable new social contacts.
We are looking for someone for the services with immediate effect or by appointment
Coordinator “Pontesano” and “Red Cross Duo” (60% workload)
To their Main tasks belong:
- Answering inquiries by telephone from referring physicians, relatives and / or potential clients
- Processing and coordination of the missions with volunteers
- Administration and management of the case files
- Leadership, technical support and accompaniment of volunteers
- Organization and implementation of introductory events and volunteer exchange meetings
- Cooperation in the team in the “Childcare at home, Pontesano and Duo” department as well as with specialist units and partner organizations
Complete the following to successfully complete this task requirements:
- Qualified training in the field of social work, social education or as a nurse (focus on psychiatry)
- Professional experience in the psychosocial or gerontological field
- Experience working with social and health services
- Experience working with volunteers would be an advantage
- Good oral and written expression in German, foreign languages are welcome
- Experience in the administrative area, in-depth PC user knowledge and IT affinity
