Who we are

Groupe CH, the sports and entertainment company par excellence in Quebec, offers unique and memorable experiences to its fans and spectators. Groupe CH owns the Montreal Canadiens and the Laval Rocket. Through evenko and L’Équipe Spectra, the organization’s entertainment and culture division, the group organizes and presents more than 1,600 shows, festivals and events each year, including the Montreal International Jazz Festival, Les Francos de Montréal, Montréal en Lumière, Fuego Fuego, OSHEAGA, îLESONIQ and LASSO. In addition to the Bell Centre, the group owns or exclusively manages several venues of all sizes, such as Place Bell, MTELUS, Studio TD, Théâtre Manuvie, le Club and Théâtre Beanfield. Through the Canadiens Children’s Foundation and the Evenko Foundation, the organization is changing the lives of thousands of young people in Quebec.

Reason for the position

The CH Group (Montreal Canadiens, Laval Rocket, evenko, L’Équipe Spectra, etc.) is looking for a Coordinator, Marketing.

Responsible for coordinating and booking promotional campaigns according to tight deadlines, including follow-ups and transfer of materials. Responsible for monthly visibility online and in our rooms. Be a great support for all marketing initiatives (newsletters, material approval, etc.)

This position is a one (1) year replacement.

You will be recognized for

Daily Responsibilities

  • Assist marketing specialists in their daily tasks
  • Reserve promotional campaigns for shows (Radio, grassroots marketing, partner development etc.)
  • Translation of material (English/French) for radio scripts, newsletters, tours, etc.
  • Assist with writing newsletters
  • In collaboration with the graphic services team, locate and approve visuals, and make requests for the creation of all necessary formats
  • Support the team in reconciling and closing marketing budgets with contracts/invoices/proof of performance
  • Help with the design of marketing plans for theatrical shows (MTELUS, Le Studio TD, Théâtre Beanfield)

Weekly/Monthly Responsibilities

  • Send the updated event distribution document by department to managers
  • Plan and coordinate the visibility of our events on the evenko.ca sites, the sites of our rooms and in our rooms and adjust according to last minute changes

We want to meet you if you have the following qualifications:

  • University training in marketing, communications, or a related field;
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related role, or a mix of work experience and internships;
  • Excellent oral and written French and English skills
  • Good command of the Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point);
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to lead several projects at once and good management of priorities;
  • Intellectual curiosity and problem-solving ability;
  • Ability to work alone and in a team;
  • Experience in the sports and/or entertainment sector is an asset.
