TIJUANA, BC In a joint operation between the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Baja California and the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Chiapas, the arrest and transfer of Juan Miguel “N”, alias “el Boxer”, from Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, was achieved. to Tijuana, Baja California.
Juan Miguel “N” is wanted by the judicial authority due to his alleged participation in two criminal cases for qualified homicide and attempted homicide.
The arrest was possible thanks to the coordinated effort between federal, state and municipal authorities, in compliance with collaboration agreements for the arrest of individuals with outstanding court orders.
The events that led to his capture include an incident that occurred on November 2, 2010, at approximately 8:00 p.m., in the San Luis neighborhood, where Juan Miguel “N”, along with other individuals, shot José Luis García, a known like “el Chepe”, who died at the scene. In addition, he is accused of shooting another individual, who managed to escape unharmed.
Additionally, he faces charges of qualified homicide in the degree of co-authorship and attempted homicide in the Second Criminal Court, related to an incident in the Ejido Lázaro Cárdenas, where several people were injured and two lost their lives.
Juan Miguel “el Boxer” is linked to a criminal group, which increases the severity of the charges against him.
Due to the danger of the detainee, a special operation was implemented during his transfer to the El Hongo Social Reintegration Center, in Tecate, under strict security measures, with the participation of the State Investigation Agency of the Tijuana Zone.
This operation underlines the commitment of the authorities of the three levels of government to ensure citizen security and guarantee compliance with justice.
