Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Muhadjir Effendy said: Emergency PPKM in Java-Bali will be extended. DKI Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria ensured that the DKI Provincial Government would carry out directives from the central government.
“Yes, we’ll just follow what the central government has decided. Extended until the end of the month or until when, we’ll follow it as best we can and be responsible,” said Riza at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Jl Medan Merdeka Selatan, Central Jakarta, Friday (16/7). /2021).
Riza said that his party did not mind even if the implementation of the Emergency PPKM was extended. He believes this effort was decided by considering the conditions of the Corona pandemic in Indonesia.
“Once we have extended it, we will support various policies, the central COVID-19 task force,” he said.
Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Muhadjir Effendy previously said that the Emergency PPKM would be extended. Muhadjir said that the Emergency PPKM was extended until the end of July.
“Earlier, the limited cabinet meeting that I attended when I was in Sukoharjo, it was decided by the President (Emergency PPKM) to continue until the end of July. Muhadjir said that with the extension of the Emergency PPKM, Jokowi conveyed that there were several risks. Among them what he mentioned was related to social assistance or social assistance.
“This extension has a lot of risks. Including how to balance it, together, it increases the discipline of the residents to comply with health protocols and PPKM standards and social assistance,” he said
