Coordinating Minister Airlangga to MSMEs: I’m sure the aid is right on target : Okezone Economy

JAKARTA – Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto believes that the MSME BLT provided is right on target. He revealed this when he heard complaints from a number of MSME actors.

They are the perpetrators UMKM who are members of the SME business group.

There were as many as 20 MSME actors who attended the event. Airlangga Hartarto as the builder of the MSME business group visited the MSME stands one by one to accommodate the complaints of traders.

Coordinating Minister Airlangga heard the complaint of a vegetable pecel trader named Rina. He hopes that the assistance provided by the government is right on target.

After hearing the story, Airlangga appreciated Rina’s entrepreneurial spirit. According to Airlangga, Rina is a business actor who has endurance during the COVID-19 pandemic. Airlangga also convinced Rina that the aid provided by the government was right on target.

“Rina’s mother congratulates her for her efforts so far. Especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, in the sense that everything is affected, but I see that you have extraordinary endurance, you are great. And I believe the aid is right on target,” said Airlangga.

Furthermore, Sri Ernawati (40) thanked Airlangga for attending and having a dialogue with MSME actors. He hopes that Airlangga can advance small businesses in Indonesia.

“I thank you very much for Mr. Airlangga and his team, so I can be here to chat with Mr. Airlangga,” said Sri.

The Coordinator of the SME business in Semarang City, Kendi Utomo, said that in the Central Java and DI Yogyakarta regions, there were 2,080 MSMEs who were members of the SME business group. For the Semarang City area, there are 830 MSMEs.

Kendi explained that the MSME Group program fostered by Airlangga has four programs that are already running. Namely, the Advanced Entrepreneurial Training program, the Business Helping Business, the Wholesale Business, and the UsAHA Kita which helps promote MSME merchandise through digital marketing.

“The programs that have been implemented really motivate MSMEs to get back up in the midst of this pandemic situation,” Kendi said when met at the activity location, in Gg. Kyai Gilang, Tugu District, Semarang City.

Kendi hopes that in the future Airlangga can continue the leadership of President Joko Wododo. So that it can create policies that favor small business actors.

“I really hope that Mr. Airlangga will continue to contribute to advancing small business actors like us by continuing the leadership of Mr. Jokowi,” he concluded.
