The Management of the Cooperative Bank of Epirus supported the initiative of the Board of Directors again this year. of the Employees’ Association (S.E.S.T.H.) for the organization of Voluntary Blood Donation, highlighting the value of donating blood and the contribution to fellow human beings. The voluntary blood donation took place on Wednesday, November 29 at the Bank’s Administration offices with a great response from members of the Administration, the Association and with the participation of citizens.
THE Managing Director of the Cooperative Bank of Epirus Mr. Ioannis Vougioukas he said: “Donating blood is a great act of solidarity, a gift of life. The Management of the Bank of Epirus supported the Voluntary Blood Donation organized by the Employees’ Association this year, fully covering the travel expenses of all those who came to Ioannina to donate blood”.
THE President of the Employees’ Association of the Cooperative Bank of Epirus Mr. Apostolos Baltzoi noted: “We would like to thank everyone who participated in the voluntary blood donation organized by our Association with the cooperation of the Blood Donation Department of the P.G.N.I. and the assistance of the Bank’s Management. With the participation of our members as well as a large number of citizens, we achieved the renewal and permanent blood deposit, as well as the possibility of providing immediate assistance in emergency situations. As a union we will be present in similar initiatives in the future, which will have a positive impact for our members, the Bank’s employees and the local community.”
