The Cooperative Bank of Epirus was distinguished in this year’s organization of the Digital Finance Awards with a Bronze award in the category Best ESG Initiative or Product to use Net Zero Analytics’ EcoVerse ESG data management platform. The investment in the EcoVerse platform promotes the adoption of ESG criteria and is part of Epirus Bank’s sustainable development strategy.
By using the EcoVerse platform, Epirus Bank can manage its customers’ ESG data, while at the same time facilitating the integration of ESG criteria into its operation, such as in its financial models, credit ratings and pricing policy creation. The benefits are also significant for the businesses themselves as the Bank provides them with pricing incentives, while they have the ability to monitor various performance indicators (KPI) that the Bank has set for its lending. In this way, the financing of sustainable investment projects is promoted, which will necessarily take ESG criteria into account.
