Cooperation between Ajman Tourism and “Al Owais Cultural” to boost cultural activities in the emirate

Ajman, March 29 / WAM / The Department of Tourism Development in Ajman signed a memorandum of understanding with the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation to enhance intellectual and cultural cooperation between them, recognizing the importance of consultation and joint work to serve the cultural sector in the Emirate of Ajman.

The memorandum was signed by His Excellency Mahmoud Khalil Al Hashemi, Director General of the Tourism Development Department in Ajman, and His Excellency Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Executive Director of the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation.

The memorandum of understanding included the foundations of cooperation and the development of bilateral relations between Ajman Tourism and the Al Owais Cultural Foundation in order to achieve their common goals through consultation and exchange of views, experiences, studies, workshops, seminars, publications and scientific and cultural information, in addition to the implementation of joint projects and the establishment of activities that serve intellectual, social, heritage, scientific and cultural issues in Ajman.

His Excellency Mahmoud Khalil Al Hashemi said that the Department of Tourism Development is keen to strengthen its local partnerships with the aim of strengthening the cultural and creative sector in the emirate to serve the ambitious directions, strategies and visions of the Emirate of Ajman, which aims to transform it into a global cultural center, an incubator for creativity and a forum for talents, pointing out that the memorandum of understanding with the Sultan Foundation Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Center falls within the framework of enriching the local cultural scene and consolidating comprehensive knowledge among the various segments of society.

For his part, the Executive Director of the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation confirmed that cooperation with national departments and institutions is at the heart of the institution’s interest, which opens horizons of communication with all parties through the exchange of information and experiences, organizing joint events and activities and other projects that serve to enhance cultural, social and tourism activity in the emirate. He added that the signing of the memorandum of understanding with the Department of Tourism Development in Ajman confirms this common approach.
