Cooler Master celebrates its 30th anniversary with the digital event Chronos Summit, where they presented, among other things chair with haptic feedbacknya Mini LED screens and compact power supply. Among the slightly more everyday component and accessory news, it is a shoe-shaped creation that stands out a little extra.
What at first glance looks like a normal sports shoe is not Cooler Masters’ attempt to mercilessly elbow its way into lifestylesegment. The colorful footwear by name Sneaker X is namely nothing less than a chassis, perhaps better referred to as a school box.
The design is a contribution from the professional modder JMDF who gave a boot to typical square formats during his participation in the Case Mod World Series 2020 competition. The prototype that JMDF demonstrated then was definitely larger than the average shoe size in Sweden, something that seems to be true the final design.
According to Cooler Master, the shoe will accommodate the latest generations of flagships in terms of both processor and graphics card. It is not clear which form factor is sought more than that without the help of a shoehorn it should be possible to get an AIO cooler down together with the components.
No price is stated, however, states The Verge that Cooler Master opens pre-booking of the unique chassis during the third quarter of the year. It is not clear whether any aroma of toe bee is included.
Is your next chassis a shoe, or is this where you put your foot down?
