/ world today news/ A protest march against the lack of adequate dialogue between citizens and institutions will be held in Sofia on October 26.
The procession will start from the Council of Ministers – 1 Dondukov Blvd. and will continue to the National Assembly. Start of the event – 8:30 in front of the Council of Ministers.
The event is being organized by a group of non-governmental organizations for which collecting bad experiences from their contacts with the authorities is a daily routine, the organizers said.
The procession will be led by kukers from the village of Lyulin in Pernik, who will make another attempt to frighten and drive away the evil from the executive and legislative authorities.
The formal approach of state institutions is known to every citizen who has tried to raise a public problem for solution. It usually takes years of pointless correspondence and protests before (if any) action is taken, often with far less than optimal results.
The main idea of the protesters is not to give ready-made solutions, but to start the search for an optimal solution through a broad public discussion, and for this purpose they offer a round table with all those interested in solving the problem.
However, basic guidelines for solving the problem are offered:
– replacement of the formally functioning civil councils with structures working transparently and open to small organizations or citizens who have gathered experience on a certain topic, with a greater presence of experts and representatives of the academic community.
– Creation of a court to which any citizen or organization can turn in case of problems with law, judicial or administrative practice. The decisions of this court will have no value in forcing authorities to do anything, but it will give a competent opinion on whether there is a problem or not, point out ways to solve problems, publicize problems and direct civic energy to overcome them. it will also help the authorities to react quickly and adequately, if the institutions do not comply with the opinion of the court – this will lead to political or moral damages.
