CHICAGO – Doctors from the Chicago Department of Public Health urge the eligible population to receive the COVID-19 bivalent booster vaccine and to have their flu vaccine updated.
This request is in line with the federal government’s efforts to encourage people to update their vaccinations by October 31 to ensure they are protected while on vacation.
Additionally, they recommend having both vaccinations up-to-date by Halloween to protect against a possible increase in COVID-19 and flu cases in the winter.
