This Friday, Nicolás Avots Sugimoto, convicted of being guilty of the so-called Tragedy of Cascallares, which occurred on November 26, 2012, was received as a lawyer this Friday at the Universidad Nacional del Sur, within the framework of a special education program in confinement contexts offered by the house of higher studies from Bahia.

Avots has been detained since April 26, 2018, after Cassation confirmed the sentence of “quintuple homicide with eventual intent”, in the Saavedra Prison, and he has a little more than 4 and a half years left to serve his sentence.
