Talks are underway with the BBC, according to the organization, as Britain’s second-place submission finished in Turin. But according to the British media, there is another, perhaps more likely plan in the running: the European Union would consider holding a Eurovision Song Contest in solidarity, out of solidarity with Ukraine. Where better to do that than in the capital of Europe: Brussels?

That would mean that, despite the 19th place of our Jérémie Makiese, we can still hold a Eurovision Song Contest in Belgium. However, it is not yet certain where the Eurovision Song Contest will take place next year, for the time being it is only about ideas and considerations. Moreover, there are plenty of British cities that are very eager to take on the organization of the festival.
