Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Saudi Airlines sparked an interaction among activists on social networking sites, following an announcement about the use of entertainment displayed on passenger screens.
After the controversy aroused, Saudi Airlines replaced the promotional video clip that includes the Senegalese influencer, Khabi Lam, one of the most well-known faces on social networking sites, and his appearance with a person in traditional Gulf clothes, with another clip of the influencer with a person with Asian features.
In the new promotional clip, Saudi Airlines commented, “A trip full of comfort with the Do Not Disturb feature during the flight with the inflight entertainment system.”
It is noteworthy that Khabi Lam was among the list issued by Forbes magazine for the most influential personalities from content makers for the year 2022, who achieved annual profits of 10 million US dollars and more through social media such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and others.
