Controversy surrounds Rotterdam influencer Armani L’Goumani after blind date scandal in Morocco – Dutch Ministry offers support

Armani L’Goumani, who grew up in the Netherlands but also has Moroccan nationality, took part in the program “Blind date by dress” on YouTube. In the video she chooses her date based on their clothes.

The video started a storm of criticism on social media, with accusations that Armani L’Goumani dressed inappropriately and disrespected Moroccan culture. The Moroccan Ministry of Justice has launched a video investigation to find out if it encourages prostitution.

Armani L’Goumani has apologized for the madness in the TikTok video. She said she did not expect her choice of clothing to offend Moroccans because she grew up in the Netherlands where such clothing choices are normal. She also confirmed that she was wearing shorts under the skirt.
