“On the last day of the election, we moved from Oiso Station to Yokosuka Station by train.”

Koizumi posted three selfies on Instagram on April 8, 2023. The following text is attached, and it is believed to have been taken while cheering for the unified local elections.

“On the final day of the election, I moved from Oiso Station to Yokosuka Station by train. Some people said to me, ‘Do your best’ just before you got off. Thank you. For a few more hours, I’ll do my best to support you until the end.”

The first one is a selfie on the train. In the background, the seats are almost filled, and some customers are standing. Passengers are wearing masks and looking down, but there is no mosaic processing in the post, and some people’s faces are shown.

The second photo was taken at the end of the car with me and the inside of the car while the seats were almost filled. Many passengers are in the photo.

The third photo shows Mr. Koizumi from behind as he passes through the ticket gates of the station, without the general public.

Although it is undeniable that Koizumi obtained consent from all of the general public in the photo, at least there is no statement to that effect in Koizumi’s post. There was a series of voices of doubt about the privacy of the first and second photos posted. The comment section of Instagram and Twitter are also calling for discussion.
