Fans outraged by Novak Djokovic draw in Cincinnati!
Many tennis fans complained on Twitter that Novak Djokovic received a tough draw in Cincinnati. In the US tournament, Djokovic will likely face Davidovich-Fokina/Etcheverry (2nd round), Norrie/De Minaur/Monfils (3rd round), Sinner/Fritz (quarter-finals), Medvedev/Rune (semi-finals), and Alcaraz (final).
“You kidding me…this is an absolutely shocking draw! I knew this was coming. It’s part of their big plan…well, if anyone can do it, it’s is well nole ! I,” one fan tweeted.

Here are some other reactions from tennis fans: “Terrible draw”. “It’s the worst draw possible”. “Again and again”. “Hopefully this will help sharpen him up for the US Open” “As #NoleFam we’re used to that, who needs an easy draw when you can still beat young players in your prime as one of the oldest and toughest players to come up against, we we are not afraid.” “Lol, we’re wrong.
It’s a warm-up tournament for the USO.”
“It’s very unlikely he’ll win it or give 100%. He’ll play 3-4 games, polish what he can and be ready for NY.” “It’s good…
Fokina will collapse after a long run, Norrie and Monfils are no problem for Novak, just like Fritz…”
Novak Djokovic has a chance to overtake Alcaraz in the ATP rankings
Although Djokovic’s road to Cincinnati is rocky, he has the opportunity to overtake Carlos Alcaraz if he performs well.
Alcaraz lost his chance to increase his lead over Djokovic after being stopped in the quarter-finals of the Canada Open by Tommy Paul.
