The anti-HPV vaccination, intended to protect against cervical cancer, has caused a lot of controversy in Romania. We all remember the failure of the vaccination campaign, launched 15 years ago, and this, while at the same time, a similar vaccination program was launched in Australia and which is now considered the most successful in the world, succeeding in reducing the rate of HPV infection by more than 90%, so that Australia is on track to eliminate cervical cancer by 2035.
