Al-Marsad newspaper: Social media users circulated a video clip, which showed girls dancing during kashta.

The video showed girls wearing brown abayas and niqabs, swaying to music.

The clip sparked a state of controversy on social media, and a tweeter commented, saying: “Kashta is nice and the dance is nice, but only if it is between you.” A tweeter wrote: “It looks like kashta, especially how the clip spread.”

A tweeter added: “Kashta is on a land marked for sale in their neighborhood.”
