This is not the first time the two ‘friends’ have been criticized for selling Amy’s personal items. Her father, Mitch Winehouse (73), says the two have sold items at auction before. Both sold at least 156 items. From two brushes, lipstick, sunglasses and body lotion. According to him, they would have saved around 3.8 million euros.

Both still insist that they got the items from Amy and that they can therefore do whatever they want with them. Mitch Winehouse totally disagrees with that. He previously requested in a lawsuit that the women must donate 854,997 euros to the Amy Winehouse Foundation. This is a fund that was established in memory of the singer and which aims to strengthen the self-confidence and resilience of children and young people. Perry and Gourlay said that Mitch Winehouse was celebrating and that all their profits were lost due to the high legal costs of the lawsuit.
