Controversy Erupts in Egypt Over Fruits that Feed on Human Blood

Al-Marsad Newspaper: A widely circulated video documented a controversy in Egypt, due to the emergence of fruits that feed on human blood after his death, according to what the videographer said.

A celebrity in Egypt published a video clip of the fruits of the red prickly pear, which grows in cemeteries, and said that it feeds on decomposing bodies and absorbs the elements it needs from it.

And the video clip showed that the “famous” wandered among the tombs that were covered with the red prickly pear plant, picked the fruits and then ate them with his hand, and then put a few grains inside a sock and squeezed it.

Al-Mashhour put a number of red prickly pear seeds in a sock and began squeezing it with his hand by pressing on it, then lifted it up and began drinking its juice, which appeared red in color as if it looked like blood.

It is worth noting that the prickly pear is one of the famous fruits in Egypt, and its fruits are harvested in the summer.
