Some people left the event, having learned that Loboda would perform there.
A singer Svetlana Loboda recently visited the Humanitarian Aid Center in Warsaw, where more than 600 Ukrainians live today.
The artist talked to the refugees, brought them household appliances, sports equipment for the playground. Also during the meeting, Loboda performed several songs a cappella in Ukrainian from her repertoire. The event was attended by several dozen people. At the meeting there were many fans of Loboda, who willingly took pictures with her and thanked her for her help.
However, there were those who, having learned about Loboda’s performance at the event, defiantly left the hall. About it writes Radio Liberty. Judging by the video shared by the publication, many Ukrainians booed Loboda. She was reproached that after 2014 she continued to perform in Russia, and on local channels she said that there were “Nazis” in Ukraine who were persecuting her.
In turn, Loboda justified that with the start of a full-scale war, she left the Russian Federation and her career there, which was at its peak:
“Well, how can you give concerts in Russia if I gave up everything, left my career, which was at its peak and just said goodbye to everyone,” said Loboda.
People in the hall exclaimed outrageous comments: “She came here to sing… Does she have a conscience?”, “Only recently she shouted that Putin is good.”
However, when Loboda was asked from the audience “who is Putin”, the artist replied: “this is not a person.”
“She comes, manipulates this ostentatious kindness. It’s really disgusting,” one of the refugees, who was at the event, said about her attitude towards Loboda.
Recall that recently Svetlana Loboda gave a concert in Nice. On stage, the artist, in particular, sang her Russian-language hits, turning into the flag of Ukraine. In turn, those present in the hall Ukrainians booed the artist and reproached her in the fact that she sings Russian-language songs, while Ukrainian artists refuse them or translate them into Ukrainian.
