This Monday a new instance of the trial for gender violence was held against the Boca Juniors footballer, Colombian Sebastian Villa.
One of the arguments presented by the player’s lawyer to prove his innocence generated controversy.
Martín Apolo, defender of the striker, said in court that his client “is not a violent man” and justified it with the following sentence: “He had few expulsions as a player. The violent ones are the players who hit him on the pitch,” he said in a television note.
