Later, under the leadership of District Secretary V. Joy, Vanchiur Area Secretary Lenin, former Mayor K. Sreekumar, Councilor D. R. Anil, etc., activists pushed into the police station and shouted and threatened the officers. The activists who were pushed twice sat on the road and shouted slogans and obstructed the traffic. Finally, the protest ended when the DCP assured that the SIs would be removed from the law and order department and an investigation would be conducted. Subsequently, the City Police Commissioner assigned Narcotics Assistant Commissioner to investigate. Subsequently, SIs S.Aseem, M.Abhilash and driver M.Mithun of Petta station were transferred.
