“TGUPP was indeed a special team created to help the governor at that time, so its members were the governor’s mainstay people,” said PKB DPP Chairman Daniel Johan to reporters, Saturday (16/12/2023).
Daniel Johan assesses that the Governor’s Team for the Acceleration of Development or TGUPP, which was formed during the governor Anies era, is like the president’s special staff. So, the ordals that Anies means are those that occur in public institutions.
“As with special staff at the president and ministries, it is certain that the mainstay people of the president or the ministers themselves will be included, but what Mr Anies means is the existing public institutions, these must be ensured that they run in accordance with the general selection rules. not because of ordal,” he added.
As a former spokesperson for Anies-Sandi in the 2017 DKI Jakarta Gubernatorial Election, Anggawira previously admitted that he understood and saw that what Anies said about ‘ordal’ in the first presidential candidate debate was not appropriate.
“In fact, it’s not just at TGUPP because in determining the commissioners at BUMD (Regional-Owned Enterprises) there are insiders and team members who come in,” explained Anggawira in his statement, Saturday (16/12).
“When Mas Anies was governor, there were also people close to him who held ‘insider’ positions such as Commissioner of LRT Jakarta, BUMD PT Jakpro (Jakarta Propertindo), those were people close to Mas Anies, especially those at TGUPP, ‘insiders’ everyone,” said the General Chair of the Advanced Indonesia National Young Entrepreneur Volunteers (Repnas).
Anggawira considers that Anies’ statement about ‘ordal’ backfired because what Anies said in the debate was considered to have been done by Anies when he served as Governor of DKI.
“I saw it backfire. This ‘insider’ is like splashing his own face,” Anggawira stressed.
