GERB and DPS again pushed strong legal changes the “second way” – in the dark, without justification, without reasons, without evaluation of what they will cause.
These are texts that have been submitted between the first and second reading of the changes therein The Investment Promotion Act, which may eclipse the great pronominal horrors of a decade or more ago.
In the evening hours of the gloomy Friday session of the parliament, the “weld” GERB-DPS voted the following:
State and municipal enterprises for the sale and exchange of real estate no auction or competitionif requested by a private company that has received an investor certificate (class A or B).
The next legal change is even more outrageous – if it is a “priority investment project”, the buildings can be sold or replaced. below the market price (but not less than the tax assessment).
The co-chairman of the Green Movement, Toma Belev, former deputy minister of the environment, described the voted texts as “a new level of Bulgarian theft” and explained the dangers:
“Last night at 7:45 p.m., the third stage of looting Bulgaria began after mass privatization and money. After them, the state had little property (forests, energy, transport, water, post offices and a few major investments .), based on a state-owned enterprise or tax assessment competition.
Déjà vu
A new series of non-profit contracts for the state have been set, in which the assets of state and municipal enterprises will be sold or leased to “our people” at “friendly” prices. We have already seen this with the “substitutions” business from the time of the Triple Alliance, when unprofitable swaps were made of state forests with private ones – pieces of chukars were plucked instead “golden” massifs by the sea in the interior of the sea. country at strange valuations. Because of these transactions that are not beneficial to the state, the EC started an investigation, and the criminal procedure is in the European Court.
Resistance
“I hope the president will ban him, but even that is not certain. If you want, write to him,” he urged Toma Belev in his Facebook post. And the former eco-minister Borislav Sandov called this morning on BNT for President Rumen Radev to block the changes to the Investment Promotion Act.
