Controversial Interruptions: Toulon Supporters Disrupt Jura Sud vs. SC Toulon Match, Bottles Thrown on Field at Neuilly-sur-Marne vs. FC Balagne

In Jura Sud (N2) – against Toulon – or in Neuilly-sur-Marne (N3) – against Balagne – the matches were interrupted because of the supporters.

This weekend, two national matches were interrupted because of Toulon supporters in Jura Sud and those of Neuilly-sur-Marne. Interrupted for tens of minutes but which the referees finally restarted, unlike that of Tours FC in Poitiers on October 21. These facts took place during the Jura Sud Foot – SC Toulon (National 2) meetings on Saturday and SFC Neuilly-sur-Marne – FC Balagne (National 3) on Sunday.

In Molinges (Jura), supporters of the Sporting Club de Toulon arrived during the match. According to Le Progrès, they entered the Édouard-Guillon stadium “without going through the main entrance and therefore without tickets”. The regional daily also indicates that a steward was hit before a smoke bomb was sent onto the pitch. The referee therefore had to stop the match. “Interruption of the match in the 36th minute following incidents with Toulon supporters for a duration of 40 minutes” is it listed on the match sheet.

Bottles on the ground in Neuilly-sur-Marne

Toulon supporters defended themselves this Sunday during a video. “The bus parked 400 meters from the stadium because it could not go any further. It was not a National 2 stadium, there was no supervision. We just wanted to enter by climbing over the fence. There was nothing premeditated. » It was then recalled that SCT supporters are “left on good terms with the leaders of Jura Sud”.

This Sunday, Neuilly-sur-Marne played its first match of the season in National 3 in its Georges-Foulon stadium. Entrance was free but it did not go as the club’s leaders hoped against FC Balagne. And it degenerated at the start of the second half after the Corsican club’s fourth goal. “Interruption of the match in the 48th minute of play for a repeat of throwing bottles on the field” is it indicated on the match sheet.

Plastic bottles of course but also a glass bottle of a famous brand of whiskey or even several lighters. Not to mention numerous insults emanating from the stands, against the referees or the Corsican players. Despite these incidents, the match ended with a success for Balagne (4-1). But these images become very worrying as the weekend goes by!
