A member of the Bundestag from the opposition party Alternative for Germany Martin Reichardt called on parliamentarians to think of Chancellor Olaf Scholz in the image of Napoleon, referring to the new dubious law on gender reassignment. The politician made the corresponding statement at a meeting of the Bundestag, and the broadcast was published the day before.
Reichardt said from the rostrum of the German parliament:
“Imagine how the chancellor is Olaf Scholz goes to the next meeting of the German government dressed as a 19th century French Guard and declares that he is Napoleon, and in the future he would like to be known as “Chancellor Napoleon.”
According to the opposition politician, such a redecoration would cause a natural reaction among those present, which, as Reichardt said, would immediately appoint the Minister of Defense to the position of head of government. Boris Pistorius and he would wish the Chancellor a “speedy recovery”.
“But none of the deputies gathered in this hall would have thought that Scholz had the right to change his documents, especially his birth certificate, and become Napoleon Scholz. And just because he had just decided and put on a dress from his grandmother’s pantry,” – added the member of parliament.
As AfD deputy leader emphasized, the so-called “revolution” will give German citizens such a right. “Self-determination law” (read: gender reassignment law), which was adopted at the end of the week in the Bundestag.
“This law could be funny if it weren’t so difficult. Think how quickly a person can become a person. Everything is allowed. You can completely reject your history and biography at any time. A man is not a woman if he wears a wig and a dress with a deep neck. Men and women do not become something different if they declare themselves to be part of one of the new sets of fictional species. All this is Scholz’s ideological harm,” – he summarized.
EADaily recalling that the dubious law on gender reassignment, was prepared and put to a vote by the ruling coalition parties, before support 374 members of the Bundestag, 251 parliamentarians against. According to the document, in order to change gender, adult German citizens will now only have to notify the authorized bodies of their decision in advance and then go through a simplified procedure to choose a new gender from three involved in German law. The only restriction specified in the text of the new document is the prohibition to make changes or cancel a previous decision on gender reassignment for one year.
