Guwahati: A woman BJP leader was found dead after her private pictures with a senior BJP leader went viral. Assam BJP leader and Kisan Morcha secretary Indrani Tahbildar (48) was found dead inside her house. The initial conclusion of the police is that it was suicide.
Private pictures of Indrani with a senior BJP leader have been circulating on social media for the past few days. It is said that this led to Indrani’s death. The incident has sparked a major debate within the party in Assam.
Local media reports that the senior leader is absconding after Indrani’s death. Central Guwahati DCP said that a case of unnatural death has been registered and investigation is on. Deepak Chaudhary told the media.
