– We were in doubt for a long time whether the program would ever be shown in the USA. Whenever we discussed the possibility of that, the reaction was always “We’re not sure if American viewers are ready for something like that.”
Darrell Olsen says so to the Hollywood Reporter, where he has chosen to “speak out”. It became necessary after the controversies surrounding the British dating show “Naked Attraction”, where Olsen is the chief producer. The concept, which is also adapted to three seasons in Norway, works simply like this: Single men and women choose a date by looking at the candidates’ naked bodies.
