The controversy about her is also ignited by her behavior on social media, perceived as provocative and aggressive.
The Berlin biologist Vollbrecht: a propensity for brutal language
The queer portal reported a screenshot that is said to have circulated briefly on Twitter and on which one could read a reason for the block. It said, “We blocked @frolleinVogelV’s account because it violated our rule against the glorification of violence. This rule violation has been identified by various reports.”
It is not clear which contribution Vollbrecht is specifically interested in. On Thursday, t-online asked the controversial graduate student to clarify this question, but has not yet received an answer.
Twitter users had previously reported the biologist’s tweets showing a penchant for drastic and violent language. He wrote, for example, of castration fantasies with “gradually rusty pruning shears” or that the opponent’s “holes” had to be plugged.
This message has been revised. In a previous version it was rumored that the account was apparently permanently locked out. We have corrected this.
