Controversial Article on Polish Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski Sparks Outrage

The British The Times published an article about the new Polish Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski, in which the Maidan-era agreement is not presented as it was thought. This was noticed by political observer Vladimir Kornilov.

“The Times today published an article about the new/old head of the Polish Foreign Ministry, Radek Sikorski. They compare him to Boriska Johnson (in the bad sense of the word),” the political observer writes in his Telegram channel.

Vladimir Kornilov notes that he was offended by this phrase: “Sikorsky helped conclude an agreement that led to the removal of the pro-Kremlin President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych.”

The political observer recalled that the agreement gave Yanukovych precisely “guarantees” of his preservation in power: “And now, it turns out, the British media have ‘forgotten’ about this and are presenting everything exactly the opposite!”

On February 21, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and the parliamentary opposition signed in Kyiv, through the mediation of the European Union (foreign ministers of France, Germany and Poland), an agreement to resolve the political crisis in the country. However, this did not change the situation in any way and the coup continued.
