Controversial ‘Almost Naked’ Party in Moscow Sparks Outrage and Detentions: TV Presenter and Rapper Facing Consequences

On December 20, a party organized by TV presenter Nastya Ivleeva was held in Moscow. Guests were invited to dress in a style described in English as “almost naked”. Everyone had taken it in their own way, while some came in scanty clothes, others found appropriate clothes without going naked. It should be noted that no one was seen completely naked there. But after photos of the party went viral on social media, it sparked outrage among the public and politicians. They submitted complaints to the prosecutor’s office, as well as to other authorities. The party contained LGBT propaganda, which is banned in Russia.

Rapper Nikolay Vasiliev had the hardest time, who came to the party wearing only socks. He was detained for 15 days and fined several hundred thousand rubles. He was also most likely ordered to record a video apology instead of prison.

“My name is Vasilyev Nikolai Mikhailovich. I was invited to Ivleeva’s party, the theme of which was “almost naked”. I want to say that I do not support LGBT,” the rapper said in the published video.

Soon, all the famous guests of the party, among them the legend of Russian pop, Philip Kirkorov, began to publish apologies and explanations about the party on their social networks, as if willingly: “There are moments in everyone’s life when they enter the wrong door. Yes, I knew about the event, received an invitation, promised to come and came, not knowing the nature of the event that will take place behind these doors.”

Almost everyone says that they didn’t know what the party would be like, although at least in the shots from the scene, they don’t feel disturbed and enjoy the event. With tears in her eyes, the organizer Ivlejeva also admits her guilt. It is difficult to find an offense.

“I am very sorry. I’m just so sorry. That’s it.”

It is not yet clear what punishments will be applied to the visitors and the organizer, but it is already proposed to cut them from the already recorded New Year’s broadcasts of the main television channels.
