Controlled several times while not respecting confinement, a resident of Châteaudun will go to court

While confinement continues until May 11, 2020, it is best not to leave without a displacement certificate. A 20-year-old Dunois will remember this for a long time. He was checked by the gendarmes on Saturday, May 2, at 3 p.m., Place des Déportés, in Châteaudun. But he was not in possession of the precious certificate.

It was the fourth time that he had been tested in a month: either he did not have a certificate with him, or he had it, but he was performing a different activity than those authorized during confinement.

Until May 11, controls on travel certificates will be maintained.

If a person is checked four times, within a period of thirty days, without a travel certificate or with an invalid certificate, “it becomes an offense with placement in police custody. Until May 11, the controls of “displacement certificates will be maintained,” recalled Sunday, May 3, Commander Fabrice Jeanjean, squadron chief of the departmental gendarmerie company in Châteaudun.

He drives without a license, alcoholic and does not respect confinement at Châteaudun

The young Dunois was, therefore, placed in police custody, for 24 hours, from Saturday, May 2, at the company of gendarmerie of Châteaudun. He was presented the following day to the public prosecutor, then he was left free. But he was summoned, Monday, May 4, early in the afternoon, to a hearing of the judicial tribunal, in Chartres, for non-compliance with the confinement.
