Darmstadt / Gernsheim (ots) – The control of a 41-year-old man at Darmstadt Central Station ended on Tuesday evening (December 22nd) with his arrest and a subsequent apartment search.
At around 11.30 p.m., federal police officers stopped and checked the man from Gernsheim. They secured around 165 grams of marijuana and a “throwing ax”. But that’s not enough. On the orders of the Darmstadt public prosecutor’s office, officials from the Groß-Gerau directorate, with the support of the federal police and a service dog, searched the apartment of the stopped man in Gernsheim. In addition to numerous drug supplies that are allegedly used for consumption, the investigators also found other drugs there. It was 460 grams of marijuana, around 1,840 grams of amphetamine, 130 grams of methamphetamine, 4.7 grams of cocaine, and a small amount of ecstasy and LSD.
The Gernsheimer was taken to the guard. A complaint was made there. After all police measures were completed, the suspect was released home. He will now have to answer in criminal proceedings.
