It’s towards the weekend and as always it means that the Epic Games store has a new game to hand out. This time it is Control – the action game from Remedy Entertainment – which is given away completely free of charge, and the offer is valid until 17 June.
If you want a copy, you have to go to Controls store listing in the Epic Games Store. Here you press the button marked “Get”, log in with an Epic account and then you can freely download and play as much as you want.
Epic also lists Genshin Empact as one of their free games this week, but it’s already free to play.
– Cracking good action
Control places players in the shoes of Jesse Faden, who in search of his brother suddenly ends up as head of the strange Federal Bureau of Control. In his new role, Jesse has to catch up with Hiss, a mysterious thing that has invaded.
Our own Øystein Furevik had a great time with the game when it came out in 2019. In his review he reported cracking good action, which grabs players with its exciting story.
– Control is a captivating and extremely engaging game that gives us something a little different than the typical warrior looking for something to shoot in another war. There is an exciting and mysterious story here that you must try to find out. The story is not just about the game as an explanation of why things happen, it is an essential and integral part of everything that happens and it is one of the few game stories the last time I have really invested in, was the verdict at the time.
